St Peter’s Walgrave with St Peter's and St Paul’s Hannington,
St Andrew’s Old and St Peter's and St Paul’s Scaldwell
Welcome to four friendly Northamptonshire Churches in the diocese of Peterborough
where we seek to bring Christ's love to our villages
Walgrave Benefice is a community of faith rooted in the love of God. For many centuries, our churches have been a place to meet God and to meet each other.
Our beliefs are deeply rooted in the Holy Scriptures, life’s only guidebook. We believe worship is not just found in prayer and singing, it’s something expressed in everything we do.
Whether you have known Jesus for decades, or you are wondering whether or not there is a God, you will find in our churches a welcoming and friendly congregation. We’re always happy to see you and warmly welcome visitors.
Come and join us to experience God’s grace for yourself.
A new command I give you: Love one another.
As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
Jesus of Nazareth (John 13:34)
Rev David Bent
The Churches in the Walgrave Benefice take very seriously their responsibility to protect and safeguard the welfare of the children, young people and vulnerable adults that they come into contact with. We aim to protect and safeguard children, young people and vulnerable adults through the application of the procedures linked to the policies on the Church of England web-site. The Church recognises that protecting and safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults is a shared responsibility and depends upon effective joint-working between all members of the Church.
